This trip takes place in the gulf of California or Sea of Cortez. It is one of the most important natural protected areas in México because its biodiversity. The reserve contains more than 900 islands. One of the most important plants is the mangrove. The mangrove controls the slinity of the soil, thus allowing other plants and animals to grow. The dense mangrove growthes provides sheltered areas where many animals find food.

Bird island is an important refuge for many birds. Through out the year one can observe up to 120 different species of birds, many of wich can be seen in their breeding plumage…
